- 1841-C Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-53 (PCGS). Well struck for the issue, with relatively minor wear noted on the high points of the design, and abundant mint luster for the grade. There are no singularly distracting marks or blemishes on either side. According to Southern gold expert Doug Winter, the 1841-C is among the rarest of all Charlotte Mint quarter eagles. PCGS# 7721.
