1783 Nova Constellatio Copper. Crosby 3-C, W-1875. Rarity-3. CONSTELATIO, Blunt Rays. AU-55 BN (PCGS). Warm olive-brown surfaces with lighter pink within the rays and wreath. A piece that saw only momentary circulation and still has traces of luster throughout the legends. Well-made, unmarked, and barely worn, here is a strong example of one of the less common Nova Constellatio types, scarce at the AU grade level and above. Provenance: From the Collection of David N.
