1711-AA 15 Deniers, or Half Mousquetaire. Metz Mint. Vlack-12. Rarity-5. VF-25 (PCGS). 16.0 grains. Bold VF detail with blended pewter and light russet patina. The surfaces show a few wispy marks and minor planchet pits, none of which features are worthy of singular concern. Scattered die rust lumps are as made, the most prominent of which is at the second digit 1 in the date. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier ex Tim Barker, February 1994.
