- Superbly original, tan-grey patina fully envelopes the surface except toward the central reverse, where some distinct brilliance remains. For a coin of this heft and size, especially coming out of New Orleans, the surface has remained startlingly free from larger abrasions, leaving the appearance smooth and pleasing for the grade.
