1863-S Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-101, the only known dies. Rarity-4+. AU-58 (PCGS). Predominantly brilliant with nearly complete mint luster, this scarce San Francisco Mint dime also offers bold to sharp detail throughout the design. This 157,500-piece issue circulated extensively on the West Coast, with the result that EF and AU survivors are challenging to locate, especially with problem free surfaces.
