Very high end quality! A beautiful, semi-prooflike JR-2. The fields are flashy and somewhat mirror-like on the obverse, while the reverse is a much frostier. Pleasing toning is relegated to the peripheries, framing the sharply struck devices. A few teeny lines can be seen under magnification, but they do not detract from the wonderful eye appeal. PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 2. There has not been a PCGS MS63 example sold in auction since August 2006--11 years ago! Clearly these do not appear at auction with any frequency.
