On Target Collection. Mintage: 1800. 23 graded MS-62, 23 higher at NGC. Heavily die clashed on the obverse. A low population does not equate to high cost for the 1873 gold dollar due simply to insufficient interest in the series. That spells "bargain" for the astute collector who would appreciate the flashy nature and well struck details of this offering. Delicate hairlines permeate the surface and account for the grade.
