1652 Massachusetts Bay Colony Oak Tree Sixpence. Noe-16, W-360. Rarity-5. IN on Reverse. VF-20 (PCGS). A desirable mid-grade example of the type with even deep argent-gray toning over both sides. Well worn on the obverse, and slightly off center as well, good peripheral detailing remains on the reverse. The rims remain intact without any of the often-seen cuts, however, some flan creases are noted on the obverse. The reverse is well centered with lettering clear. A first-rate survivor of this very scarce issue. PCGS# 45359.
