- 1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 65-u, W-5495. Rarity-4. Head Right. VF-20. 149.5 grains. Chocolate brown surfaces yield some uniform porosity throughout, heaviest at the top of the obverse where it affects the horse's head and lettering immediately above, the reverse with some small pits here and there. Obverse swollen at center, die crack from rim at 7 o'clock across plow handles. PCGS# 521.
