- Lot 275 1837 N-8/7 R1 Plain Hair Cord, Med Ltrs PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved.Frosty tan and light brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints of the devices. The only mark is a small puff of reddish brown toning (not carbon) on the N in UNITED. An attractive cent, just very lightly worn on the highpoints. LDS. The earlier die lines on the reverse are gone but the dot between the E & N in CENT is clear (Newcomb's old #7). Our grade is EF45.The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
