A very high end GEM 8 Tail Feather dollar, the first variant among that had the incorrect number of feathers on the eagle's tail. Subsequent hubs were changed to have the correct number. A big, bold, and booming lustrous GEM that displays a hint of gold and a sharp strike, which combine to create a visually impressive coin! PCGS 850, NGC 429, CAC 114.
