1797 Draped Bust Cent. S-131. Rarity-2+. Reverse of 1797, Stemless Wreath. VF-35 (PCGS). Warm medium brown patina with glints of rose-russet and gray-brown scattered about. The strike is just a bit off center toward 3 o'clock on the obverse, the overall detail bold and nearly worthy of an EF designation. Light scattered marks are easily overlooked, more significant is a prominent obverse flan flaw that meanders from Liberty's nose to the border below the chin. PCGS# 1425. NGC ID: 2243.
