This is a virtually pristine example that really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Sharply struck with a crisp untoned appearance, both sides also exhibit intense luster in a bright satin texture. While the 1937 is a high mintage (79,480,000 pieces) issue that is plentiful in an absolute sense, this premium quality Superb Gem is decidedly rare from a condition standpoint. Among the finest certified, and worthy of inclusion in the finest Buffalo nickel set.
