1862 Gold Dollar. MS-66 (NGC). An intensely lustrous olive gold specimen with lively luster and eye appeal easily equal to the task at hand. Despite the nearly series-topping mintage figure, this date is not an easy find in Gem grades. Indeed, fewer than 10 examples of the date have been graded finer than this pretty gold dollar by NGC.
