Fully struck with some field to device contrast, to see this coin is to admire it for both its technical quality and eye appeal. A scarcer Proof Liberty Head nickel with a limited mintage of 1,938 pieces, the 1897 is particularly elusive in the finest certified grades, as here.<p>
