1776 Machin's Mills Halfpenny. Vlack 6-76A, W-7790. Rarity-4. GEORGIVS III, Large Date. VF-20 (PCGS). 115.1 grains. Dark chocolate brown with light granularity, most notable in the southwest quadrant of the obverse. Some harmless peripheral verdigris and a little speck of plaque on Britannia's knee are noted on the reverse. A sharp and desirable example of this popular issue. PCGS# 945.
