1875/4 Octagonal 50 Cents. BG-931. Rarity-7-. Liberty Head. MS-62 (PCGS). Delightful satin to semi-reflective surfaces exhibit isolated blushes of pale rose to dominant golden-olive patina. Lightly struck in the centers, yet suitably bold overall. This is the first example of BG-931 that we have handled in quite some time, and with good reason. Accounting for the likelihood of resubmissions at the major certification services, the experts and PCGS CoinFactsestimate that only eight to 12 examples of this type are extant.
