1886 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-64+ (NGC). Deep golden-gray surfaces exhibit soft underlying luster with varied deep golden highlights throughout. One of just 5,000 examples of the date struck for intended circulation -- the Philadelphia Mint was busy churning out millions of Morgan dollars and paid little attention to half dollars. The only example of the date given a + designation within any grade by NGC. PCGS# 6368. NGC Census: 1; no others of any grade within the + designation.
