1722 Rosa Americana Halfpenny. Martin 3.6-C.2, W-1222. Rarity-4. DEI GRATIA REX / UTILE DULCI. EF-40 (PCGS). Boldly defined overall, this handsome example also sports blended brassy-gold and medium brown patina. The strike is off center with the denticulation absent along the upper left obverse and reverse borders, although all devices are clear, and many are actually quite sharp.
