Lot Description

A premium Gem with dominant olive-brown and subtle lilac patina, but with traces of original pinkish-rose mint color still very much evidence in the protected areas around many of the design elements. Accuracy alone compels us to mention a few tiny obverse marks under Liberty's eye and an ancient spot on the reverse at the letters UN in UNITED. A great Mint State type candidate, almost certainly from the famous Randall Hoard.
