1879-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-64 DMPL (PCGS). OGH. Heavily frosted motifs and richly mirrored fields form a bold cameo contrast. A whisper of faint champagne graces both sides. A sharply struck representative of the first Morgan dollar coinage from the New Orleans Mint. Just two DMPL examples of the date have been accorded finer grades than the present coin by PCGS, making the present high-grade coin all the more attractive; the two MS-65 DMPL pieces probably belong to a <em>Registry Set </em>or other advanced collection.
