1797 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-1. Rarity-2. 1 Above 1, Plain Edge. VF-25 (PCGS). Even deep steel-brown with microscopic granularity so fine that it is barely detectable even under standard magnification. An attractive example of this blundered date marriage.
