1961 Franklin Half Dollar. Proof-69 Cameo (PCGS). Virtually untoned, this gorgeous specimen displays nearly perfect surfaces and a bold cameo finish. The 1961 ranks alongside the 1962 and 1963 as one of the highest mintage Proofs of this type. While survivors of this 3,028,244-piece issue are certainly plentiful in an absolute sense, precious few can compare to the present Ultra Gem in terms of quality or eye appeal.
