Lot Description

An appealing Gem, satiny mint luster is front and center with medium golden-rose color and a razor sharp strike. The surfaces are uncommonly smooth for both the issue and the type, and the eye appeal is also superior. The 1913 may be among the more plentiful Indian Eagles in an absolute sense, but high grade Uncs are still scarce when viewed in the wider context of the U.S. gold coin family. Gems are rarer than those of such other Indian eagles as the 1908 Motto, 1910 and 1915.
