1855 Liberty Head Eagle. MS-60 (NGC). The significance of the 1855 eagle lies in its status as a No Motto type coin, for it is one of the few issues of this earlier design that can occasionally be found in strict Uncirculated condition. This is a bright, satiny example that shows a few surface blemishes and has excellent sharpness on all details, save for the obverse stars. Population: 3 in 60; 29 finer (64+ finest). PCGS# 8616.
