- Collectors know that the 1924 issues for the Standing Liberty quarter series frequently display partial digits in the date, and even this full-head example cannot be considered truly fully detailed, although numerals "1924" certainly have more sharpness than what is normally seen. The obverse seems a shade brighter than the reverse, likely due to a fragile layer of coral-gold coloration on the latter side.
