1843-D Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 10-H. Medium D. EF-40 (PCGS). CAC. Plenty of bold striking detail remains to the more protected design elements on both sides of this attractive and problem free EF half eagle. Delicate olive-gray overtones are seen on dominant honey-orange color. With faint traces of original luster and no noteworthy marks, this coin will appeal to discerning mintmarked type collectors as well as Southern gold specialists.
