FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III Eliasberg Gem Proof 1876 Half Dollar Gorgeous two-tone Gem Proof Cameo features glittering mirrored fields. Lightly frosted devices provide a nice contrast. The obverse is mostly white with rich blue-gold toning towards the rims. The reverse is suffused with silvery blue-gray highlights. PCGS 7, NGC 13. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $6,000. Most recent auction record was for a PCGS Cam CAC we sold in July 2017 for $5,640. A wonderfully attractive coin with a pedigree that can’t be beat – for the Seated Half connoisseur. Cert.
