Lot Description

1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-21, B-1. Rarity-1. Two Leaves. VG-10 (PCGS). Lavender-gray obverse toning yields to bolder lavender-charcoal patina on the reverse. This well-worn piece does retain outline definition to all devices, and we see no abrasions of note. Accuracy does compel us to mention a light vertical planchet flaw over the obverse portrait, as well as a planchet streak that bisects the upper part of the reverse eagle. Both of these features are as struck.
