1945-P Jefferson Nickel. FS-803. Tripled Die Reverse. MS-66 FS (PCGS). Brilliant and beautiful surfaces are fully lustrous with a satin to softly frosted finish. Also fully struck, the detail is razor sharp from the rims to the centers. Look to the peripheral lettering for the clearest signs of the tripling that identifies this variety, especially those in the words UNUM and AMERICA. Examples of the 1945-P FS-803 are scarce in an absolute sense and exceedingly rare with the quality offered here. Provenance: From the George "Buddy" Byers Buckeye Collection.
