Lot Description

Untoned with blinding luster.  Well struck with immaculate surfaces.  A little rub on the portrait.  The reverse is unc.  I’ve no idea why this one was not graded AU 58.  It was dipped, of course, but not cleaned.  From Alpine Numismatics in July 2001.   Estimate: $600 to $800
