A wonderful, totally original GEM example of this popular variety, that borders on a SUPERB designation. Incandescent red luster blazes on both sides, bringing the wood grain toning on the obverse to a brilliant vivacity. The reverse is virtually untoned and fully brilliant. The devices are crisply defined and the eye appeal is superb. PCGS 8, NGC 1, CAC 5. The only PCGS/CAC coin sold in auction in October 2015 but more recently a non-CAC NGC coin sold for $1,293 and the current CU value is $1,300. A very attractive GEM for any collection of toned or RB Lincoln cents. Cert. Number 34632920 PCGS # 92433
