Lot Description

Exceptional eye appeal on this truly stunning and rare Superb Gem Walking Liberty half dollar. Aglow with silver-white brilliance, both sides allow ready appreciation of full mint frost. Strike quality is also noteworthy, the definition otherwise full with emerging to bold detail over the high points.<p>After only the 1934-S, the 1935-S is the rarest middle date (1934 to 1940) Walking Liberty half dollar. With most Mint State survivors confined to lower grades due to poor strike quality and/or noticeably abraded surfaces, this premium NGC MS-67 is sure to appeal to advanced specialists in this popular 20th century series. It is one of the finest survivors of the issue and would do particularly well in high ranked collection on the firm's Set Registry.
