A sparkling lustrous near-GEM example from the first year of the gold dollar denomination. Ultra brilliant mint lustrous yellow-gold surfaces gleam and glow boldly across both sides. A sharply struck jewel with great visual allure. Only with the aid of a strong glass can you find the tiny mark or two that keep it out of a GEM holder. Needless to say the eye appeal is great.
