Attractive AU 1803 Silver Dollar Large 3 Variety 1803 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-6, BB-255. Rarity-2. BB Die State I. Large 3. AU-53 (NGC). Deep steel and lilac-gray with deeper shades of both in the protected design areas. The strike is sharp and essentially full save for light rub on the high points, and the surfaces are virtually unmarked to the unassisted eye. A bright light source reveals lively rainbow iridescence in places as well as mint bloom in Liberty's tresses and the eagle's plumage. Choice for the grade at many levels. PCGS# 40101.
