1793/2 Washington Ship Halfpenny. Baker-18, W-10855. Rarity-3. Copper. Lettered Edge. MS-62 BN (PCGS). 159.5 grains. Deep golden-brown with a touch of gloss here and there. Reverse surfaces granular in places, especially to the right of the date, though only seen under low magnification. Earliest reverse die state, no swelling, clashing or rim cud, and scarcer than its later-state counterparts.
