1878-S Liberty Half Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). Outstanding visual appeal. Rich yellow gold, with faintly deeper toning at the rims. Abundantly lustrous with full cartwheels and just a few minor marks accounting for the grade. Not rare from a standpoint of mintage, but certainly so at this grade level. Just three have been graded this high by PCGS with only a single example finer.
