1797 Draped Bust Cent. S-140. Rarity-1. Reverse of 1797, Stems to Wreath. EF-45 (PCGS). Wisps of steel-live iridescence enliven a base of warm golden-brown patina. Most design elements are boldly to sharply defined, and the strike is well centered on both sides. A couple of light scuffs at the lower right obverse border are noted, but this generally smooth-looking EF is a handsome example of both the type and die pairing. Breen Die State IV. PCGS# 1422.
