1871 Pattern Dime. Judd-1085, Pollock-1221. Rarity-6+. Copper. Reeded Edge. Proof-66 RB (NGC). Obverse with Longacre's Indian Princess design, 13 stars surround with date below. Reverse is the regular dies for the dime of that year. Faded mint color of rosy-red with tinges of blue in the design elements. Boldly struck throughout and free of spots or marks from handling. This is the finest example certified by NGC and along at the PR-66 category. PCGS# 71344. NGC Census: 1; none finer in any designation.
