1899-S Barber Half Dollar. MS-63 (NGC). A lovely, sharply struck example from the San Francisco Mint. The steel-gray toning yields to golden-amber accents near the peripheries. Satiny and carefully preserved, with minimal surface marks for the grade. Forming a set of Barber half dollars, 1892-1915, in MS-63 grade is an interesting possibility if you are seeking a new challenge. There are no "impossible" rarities, although some are scarcer than others. The present coin would be a nice start.
