1939 Jefferson Nickel. FS-901 (FS-023). Reverse of 1940. Proof-67 (PCGS). Exceptional quality for this elusive transitional proof coin, these represent a small fraction of the 1939 proofs seen. Finding a spectacular superb gem is quite difficult, and this is one of the absolute finest seen by PCGS. Blazing bright with a hint of nickel-blue sheen and no toning or specks.
