1722 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin-3.7-C.2, 11 Harp Strings. Rarity-5. Harp at Right. MS-62 BN (NGC). The glossy golden-brown surfaces of this attractive Hibernia halfpenny some central granularity where the copper refused to fill the highest design points, not an uncommon occurrence for the type. The eye appeal is substantial for the assigned grade. Late die state with a chip from the rim into the field on the reverse at 3 o'clock.
