"1776" Machin's Mills Halfpenny. Vlack 6-76A, W-7790. URS-8. GEORGIVS III. VF-20 (PCGS). Smooth, problem free planchet. Ever popular date in the Machin's Mills series for obvious reasons. Rather attractive as these are commonly found on dreadful copper, here the color is spot on, well free of spots that is—spotless in fact. Precious few have been certified, as not many survived at all. An extraordinary specimen of this issue, and an issue that is unobtainable in Mint State.
