1785 Connecticut Copper. Miller-6.4-I, W-2420. Rarity-2. Bust Right. VF-30 (NGC). Deep golden-brown surfaces appear hard and glossy to the unassisted eye, though a loupe reveals a touch of roughness here and there, virtually all of it in the planchet when struck. Obverse nicely centered, large planchet void at shoulder of effigy, planchet rift across the neck, no other noticeable marks are picked out without a loupe, reverse evenly centered as well, natural fissures diagonally across Liberty's upper torso. All things considered, still a wholly acceptable example of the variety. PCGS# 316.
