1829 Capped Bust Dime. JR-12. Rarity-3. Medium 10C. MS-65 (PCGS). CAC. Rich, variegated patina blankets each side of this satiny, highly lustrous Gem example. The design motifs are precisely and completely struck throughout. Other than a couple of extremely faint, vertical lines in the right obverse field, the surfaces are well preserved and very clean. One of just two Medium 10C varieties, along with the even scarcer JR-11 die pairing.
