Lot Description

T. W. J. Collection. 19 graded MS-66, 5 higher at NGC. Glistening luster, potent but not loud, shimmers beautifully underneath a gossamer layer of greyish toning. This is joined by faint golden accents and a very good strike, not at all far off a full-head designation. 1927 turns out to be a surprisingly difficult acquisition in finer grades despite a mintage near 12-million pieces.
