Die State 113.1. A significant piece, this premium Choice Uncirculated example is tied for CC#2 for the 1832 O-113 dies per the listing in the Spring 2026 revision to Stephen J. Herrman's AMBPR for Bust half dollars. It is a gently toned coin with slightly speckled golden-gray and reddish-russet patina that is boldest at the peripheries. Detail in those areas is a bit soft, the result of die fatigue, but the centers are bold to sharp and all major design elements are readily appreciable. A full endowment of soft mint luster further enhances the desirability of this pretty near-Gem. The Herrman CC#1 coin is an NGC MS-67.
