- Lot 71 1828 C-3 R1 13-Star Obverse NGC graded AU58.Frosty medium brown with darker olive steel toning on the highpoints of the portrait. Nicely struck with just a hint of friction on the highpoints, but there is dirt in protected areas. Needs a bath to uncover the underlying luster. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0, with a finely doubled set of die clashmarks on the reverse. The spine from the leaf tip over HA in HALF is still long and sharp.
