This is a boldly and originally toned example that would do equally well in a high grade type or date set. Fully struck with a smooth satin texture. Barber half dollar output at the Philadelphia Mint nearly reached 5 million coins in 1902. Nevertheless, premium Gems such as this coin are unquestionable condition rarities.
