1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 52-i, W-5280. Rarity-3. Outlined Shield. EF-45 (PCGS). An exemplary example of the grade and type combination. The deep golden-tan surfaces appear glossy and hard to the naked eye, though low magnification reveals traces of small, natural fissures, in the planchet when struck and by no means detrimental. The devices are sharp and the surfaces are free of any marks that distract from the overall quality. Absolutely choice in all regards.
